Annuities are complex investment instruments. This class presents an objective and educational look at how annuities work, the different types and features of annuities as well as the benefits and downsides to each.
Retirement is different than it used to be. No longer do you stop working and enjoy 10 or so years off work. With the average life expectancy getting longer and longer people can live 20, 25 or even 30 years into retirement. That is basically another career in its self.
This class will focus on the intersection between human psychology and investing. We will explore several behavioral and cognitive biases that can affect how you view your investments, and make decisions surrounding them. The presentation will conclude with a follow-up open discussion.

In retirement you do a few things differently than when you were working. You usually stop earning as much income, you usually stop saving and for many of us we must start tapping into our investments.
