We don’t try to predict the future on these things, but any proposed new legislation that may impact our clients or their planning needs is on our radar.
The 3rd quarter has come to an end with no shortage of things for us to talk about (lucky you). All kidding aside, there have been new developments in the markets, new legislation that will affect most investors and in September we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of some events we would probably all like to forget, the financial crisis.
In June, the Trustees of Social Security’s trust funds released their annual report (viewable at https://www.ssa.gov/OACT/TR/2018/tr2018.pdf). What many already know remains the same, the outlook for the future of the Social Security program as we know presents a challenge on the horizon.
